Welcome and thank you for visiting my website

I realise that if you are visiting my website you, or someone close to you, may be experiencing emotional problems and distress, and that you are looking for some help.

I am a Senior Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I can offer you short-term and long-term professional support at my counselling and psychotherapy practice in Churchdown, close to Cheltenham, Gloucester and within easy reach of the Forest of Dean, Tewkesbury and Cirencester. My practice is within 10 minutes drive of junctions 11 and 11A of the M5.

You do not have to be in crisis or have experienced a major life event to benefit from counselling. People seek counselling for many reasons and these may include a major trauma or just a general feeling of 'things not being right'. Some issues that I have helped people with are:

  • anxiety
  • abuse or violence
  • bereavement and loss
  • breakdown of a relationship
  • depression
  • disability
  • family or relationship difficulties
  • feeling unable to cope
  • life changes
  • low self esteem
  • stress
  • traumatic incidents
  • work related issues including bullying

This is not an exhaustive list, and anything that is affecting your emotional wellbeing could benefit from counselling.

If this sounds helpful and you would like to know more please call or email to discuss or to arrange an initial consultation. All enquiries are treated in confidence.
