I am a Registered Counsellor and a Senior Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to their Code of Ethics.
In addition to my private practice, established in 2010, I also provide counselling for local organisations, councils, Occupational Health providers and for many of the largest providers of employee counselling (EAPs) in the UK.
I have been counselling for over 10 years and since qualifying I have continued to develop my skills and knowledge through further training. This has included:
- Bereavement counselling
- Disability aware counselling
- Trauma counselling
- Solution focussed counselling
- Addiction counselling
- Recognising sex addiction
- Workplace counselling
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- Boarding School Syndrome
- Mindfulness-based stress reduction
My purpose built counselling room is in a quiet location at my address in Churchdown. It has its own entrance with disabled access and offers you complete privacy. There is plenty of street parking and I am conveniently situated between Cheltenham and Gloucester and within easy reach of the Forest of Dean, Tewkesbury and Cirencester.
My practice is within 10 minutes drive of junctions 11 and 11A of the M5. It is on the Cheltenham and Gloucester bus route No. 98 (2 minutes walk) and No. 97 & 94 bus (15 minutes walk).
